Twenty-three years at the Karl Truman Law Office. Jessica Batman’s job is to make the adjuster see what the file is actually worth.

She develops cases to establish value, then handles the negotiation through to resolution on pre-litigation claims. Along the way she keeps the client in the room. Regular updates, and a real seat at the negotiation, so the client can say out loud what the claim has cost them. That is not a courtesy. It is evidence.

A graduate of Floyd Central High School, Jessica earned her Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Sullivan College. Her prior experience includes paralegal positions with Mapother & Mapother, Fifer Law Office, and Ward Tyler & Scott.

Clients tend to say the same two things about her: she responds fast and she keeps them updated.

Jessica is a mom of two, a published author, and a soap and candle maker. She hikes, fishes, boats, and gardens. Find her at Patoka Lake, in a bookstore, or in the handmade artisan shops around New Albany, Madison, Louisville, and Brown County, Indiana. A native of Floyds Knobs, she still lives there.
