About Michael Chang

Nobody gets hurt at work and knows what to do next. That is the entire problem Michael Chang solves.

Thirteen years at the Karl Truman Law Office this year. He started as an intern in June 2013, was hired full time as a legal assistant shortly after, and was promoted to paralegal.

“Not a lot of people get hurt on the job and know what to do when dealing with the insurance companies.”

Michael handles the adjusters and the carriers so the client can focus on treatment and getting better. That is the trade. He takes the phone calls so you can go to physical therapy.

He does not sugar coat. Some clients appreciate that more than the alternative.

Michael studied Political Science with a track in Paralegal studies at the University of Louisville. With prior experience in the technology field, he has volunteered at an assisted living facility helping residents connect with family and friends through social media, and has helped younger people navigate new hardware.

A Louisville resident, he enjoys time with his family, cycling, and photography. He is also on a very dedicated campaign to find the best tacos south of the Mississippi River.

His favorite quote is from Amelia Earhart: “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.”
